Over the past few months I have been very busy and delighted to receive ´Thank you´ Cards, Letters and E mails. I enjoy all the Weddings and functions that I attend and to receive these testimonials is much appreciated.

Andy & Sally Richardson - Fanhams Hall Hotel, Ware, Herts - 27th September 2009

Sunday the 27th September, another fine, warm and sunny day saw me back at Fanhams Hall Hotel, Ware, Herts for the Andy & Sally´s Wedding. The Ceremony was held in the Great Hall and once we had completed all the photographs and the Great Hall had been readied for the Wedding Breakfast we returned for a lovely meal with some excellent speeches. Andy and Sally live in Australia and much of our early communication was via e mail. We were able to meet a short while before the great day to discuss their plans and get to know one another. Following their honeymoon they have gone back to Brisbane but were kind enough to send me this e mail:

Ted,

Sorry for the delay in sending through this email but we have only just settled back in to normal life after the whirlwind of the wedding, trip back to Australia, honeymoon and first week back at work.

Sally and I just wanted to say thanks to you for helping to make our wedding day at Fanhams Hall so special.  From the moment that we met you, and beforehand through our email conversations, Sally and I both felt very comfortable with you and knew that we could trust you to help our day go off without a hitch.  In the event, the whole day exceeded our expectations and this was in no small part down to you.  Whether it was helping us with advice about speeches before the big day, providing the PA system for us to play music during the ceremony, organising groups for our many photos, ensuring we had drinks during all of the photographs, or making sure that all of the other service providers on the day were kept informed on changes to the schedule; all of this was sorted out by you seamlessly and ensured that Sally and I had as stress-free a day as possible.  Many of the comments from our family and friends on the day was how helpful you were without dominating proceedings.  Whether it was a reassuring word to my young nephew on sorting out the music, to swapping stories with my elderly aunts, all were put at ease by your manner. 

So once again, a huge thank you from Sally and I for everything.  Your help on the day has meant that we have started our married life together without a hitch.  For anyone who asks whether it is worthwhile having a toastmaster on your big day we would both say a resounding yes, and would point them in your direction without a moments hesitation.

We will forward some photos through to you once we have gotten them from the photographer as a memento of our day.

Hi Ted,

We wanted to send you a quick thank you before we set off on our honeymoon.  You did an amazing job on the day and we are                             immensely grateful for all your hard work.  You circulated tirelessly amongst our guests, breaking the ice and keeping everybody                                           at ease (and in order!).

 We had a fantastic day and even Kev said he enjoyed it, even with the stress of the speech.  We really didn´t have to worry about                             anything and you were always on hand with advice and encouragement when needed.

 Kev would particularly like to thank you for being on hand from the word go, so that other than the speech he had nothing to worry about.                        The day ran so smoothly and we know that was all down to you.

Our day was perfect and you were a massive part of making this so.  Out of all the decisions we made for the day,                                                     choosing you was one of the best.

 We thank you with all the sincerity possible and hope we have the good fortune to meet up with you again some day.

 Hopefully you will be able to get the photo you wanted from Doug, if not please let us know and we can scour family                                                        and friends albums.

´Hi Ted,

Just wanted to thank you for making our day so special, you were so invaluable to the smooth running of everything and we can´t thank you enough.              

Everyone commented on how good you were and exceptional value for money, you looked after us so well you were like Mum, Dad and Toastmaster all rolled into one!

So if I get asked exactly what a Toastmaster does I will just say book Ted - ´He´s the best!´
