It is just over 4 years that I began my career as a Professional Toastmaster & Master of Ceremonies and in that time my training by the National Association of Toastmasters Training Scheme has proved invaluable as I have been priveliged to officiate at many different and prestigious functions such as City Dinners and Lunches, Banquets, Award Ceremonies, Dinner Dances as well as many Weddings which are always a great joy to attend.During that time I have gained much invaluable experience.

During the past year I have officiated at The Guildhall, London, Mansion House, London, Hilton Hotel Park Lane, London, The Landmark,London, Marriott Hotel, West India Quay, Canary Wharf, Hanbury Manor,Ware, Herts, Fanhams Hall Hotel, Ware, Herts, Gaynes Park, Epping, Essex, Ye Olde Plough House, Essex, Stock Brook Manor, Essex, Three Rivers Golf & Country Club, Essex, The London Golf Club, Kent, Parklands, Quendon, Essex and many others. Often as a Toastmaster but, on occasions, as Host Presenter. A combination of Weddings, Banquets, Dinners, Luncheons and Award Ceremonies.

This year I have had the pleasure of attending many lovely and happy Weddings. Unfortunately I will not be able to include every function and event - so my apologies for not mentioning those I have been present at before I mastered the art of ´blogging!´

During this year I am seeing an increase in my work in the corporate market as a Toastmaster, Master of Ceremonies, Compere and Auctioneer. Using a my skills to approach each of these different tasks is very rewarding. As with Weddings, I am very passionate about the services I offer and am always looking to improve and ensure that my clients have a very special day.

In March 2009 I had the great pleasure of officiating at Amanda & Tony´s Wedding held at Gosfield Hall, nr Braintree, Essex. We had met when I officiated a their friend´s Wedding at Ye Olde Plough House, Bulphan. The Ceremony was held at Gosfield Hall and a sumptous Wedding Breakfast followed. The speeches were excellent ending with a unique, witty and energetic Best Man´s speech by Chris Clarke. The value of early preparation was very evident. That day I worked with photographer Neil Bailey and videographer - Iain Wagstaff. Once Amanda and Tony returned from honeymoon they were kind enough to write to me:

´Dear Ted,

Thank you so much for all your help on our Wedding Day. You were amazing.

Everybody said how good you were and we were so impressed.

Without you it would not have been so well organised, and you made it go like clockwork. We certainly will be recommending you, you were  soooooo-oh good!

Once again, thank you Ted, it was such a magical day - we didn´t want it to end!

Lots of Love

Amanda & Tony xxx
